Thyroid Management

Thyroid Background

It's estimated that 20 million people are suffering with Thyroid disease in the United States and roughly 60% of them are unaware. A vast majority of people with hypothyroid also have Hashimoto's, an autoimmune condition where the immune system is attacking the thyroid gland. In this case, thyroid replacement may not be sufficient, and attention to modulating the immune system becomes the top priority. Sadly, this is not seen in the conventional model where most people suffering are just given synthetic T4.

Thyroid Management

Our aim is to restore your Thyroid back to normal using integrative therapies and natural, compounded medications. We completely understand the need to modulate the immune system and attend to the triggers that drive your Hypothyroid Hashimoto's disease. We generally do a complete thyroid panel to evaluate for subtle changes and customize care based on historical and examination findings. It's not uncommon that we identify underlying infections, chemicals, and/or dietary triggers that are driving your symptoms.
