Is everything done through telehealth?

Yes. All appointments at Mindspark Health are conducted via secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth. You can access expert care from the comfort of your home.

Can you order labs and prescriptions in my state?

Yes. We can submit lab orders and prescriptions to local providers or pharmacies in the states we serve. Labs can also be completed through national diagnostic companies with kits shipped directly to your home.

Can you order labs and prescriptions in my state?

Do you treat children or only adults?

Insurance & Payment

Which insurance plans do you accept?

Mindspark Health accepts Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Cigna, Regence BCBS, and United Healthcare. For patients with other insurance, we provide superbills that may be submitted for out-of-network reimbursement.

Do you offer cash-pay or self-pay options?

Yes. Patients may choose self-pay options if preferred. We provide transparent pricing for visits, labs, and programs.

Are labs covered by insurance?

Many labs are covered by insurance when performed at major diagnostic networks such as Quest Diagnostics. Some specialty labs for mold, toxins, or advanced testing may not be covered. We always review costs and options before submitting orders.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

How do I become a new patient?

What should I expect during my first appointment?

The initial consultation is a 60-minute telehealth visit. Dr. Newman will review your health history, discuss symptoms, and outline recommended labs or programs tailored to your needs.

How long are appointments?

Initial appointments are typically 60 minutes, while follow-ups range from 20–30 minutes depending on your program and treatment plan.

How often will I need follow-up visits?

Follow-up frequency depends on your individual needs. Some patients check in monthly, while others move to every 2–3 months once stable. Follow-ups are customized to support your progress.

Lab Testing

What types of labs do you order?

Mindspark Health orders a wide range of labs including bloodwork, hormone panels, gut microbiome tests, mold toxin panels, and advanced genetic assessments to uncover root causes.

Where can I get my labs done?

Labs can be completed at local Quest Diagnostics locations or through other national diagnostic companies, like Labcorp. For specialty tests, we can request kits be shipped directly to your home with easy instructions, allowing you to complete testing safely and conveniently.

Do I need to fast before lab work?

Some labs require fasting, while others don’t. We’ll provide clear instructions for each test you need.

Do you use specialty labs for mold and toxins?

Yes. As a mold-literate provider, Dr. Newman uses specialized labs for mold illness and toxin exposure, ensuring accurate results for conditions like CIRS.

Yes! We can provide statement letters, accommodation & documentation letters, work notes, and assist with completing forms if required by a physician. Our standard turnaround time is 3–5 business days. We always do our best to deliver sooner whenever possible, but please plan for up to 5 business days for processing.

Do you offer nutrition or meal planning support?

Yes. Patients receive anti-inflammatory meal plans and nutrition guidance tailored to their conditions.

What is the 5-Step Mold Fix program?

A structured program to help patients identify mold exposure, reduce inflammation, support detoxification, and restore health through labs, supplements, lifestyle guidance, and ongoing support.

Do you prescribe medications if needed?
